Rev. Chris Barbieri is an ordained Deacon in the United Methodist Church who has been serving in the North Georgia Conference for nearly 15 years. He has served on church staffs as well as an interim pastor. Currently, he is appointed as Associate Chaplain at Floyd Medical Center in Rome, GA. Chris is a recognized leader in the area of adult spiritual formation and church leadership.
In 2017, Chris began self-publishing a series of devotional journals through his LLC, Digital Deacon Ministries. In addition to his books, Chris trains and equips pastors and church leaders through workshops and one-on-one mentoring.
Prior to answering his call to ministry, Chris was a Systems Analyst in the Information Technology field and worked for companies large and small (Fortune 50 to startup.) Chris is married to Dr. Jennifer Barbieri, a pulmonologist with Harbin Clinic, and they have two daughters.
